Monday 20 August

Hacks/Hackers. Do journalists and hackers have something in common? This meeting about how to use technology to inform is gonna be enough to join them once and for all. From 7.30 pm at Co.up, Adalberstrasse, 7 – 8.

29th Social Media Club Berlin. The latest trends on Social Media platforms are the leitmotiv of this meetup where you will also find out the ‘The Dark Side of the likes’. Interesting for new companies who want to promote themselves through social media. From 7 pm at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, 2.

Tuesday 21 August

Berlin Twackers. Developing some Twitter stuff? Come this Tuesday to this meetup for Twitter developers and listen to some ideas from Kai Hendry based on his experience at  Greptweet, a webapp for searching your tweets. From 7 pm to 9 pm, at C-base Raumstation, Rungestrasse, 20.

Campus Party. If you are one of the ‘campuseros’ who got a ticket, it’s time to start the biggest technology festival in the world. One whole week focused on finding out the best technical talent and showing what is going on in the most elite tech field. From the 21st at 11 pm to  the 25th of August at 8 pm. At Tempelhof Airport.

Wednesday 22 August

Indiegogo. The crowdfounding platform Indiegogo, where you can bet (and invest) on any idea wherever you are, is going to host a meeting this Wednesday. Good chance to make that great idea more profitable with the best tools to raise money! From 6 pm to 8 pm at Sankt Oberholz, Rosenthaler Strasse, 72A.

Thursday 23 August

Tech Open Air. The first Tech Open Air Festival is coming to Berlin. Let your new tech idea mix with some music, art and other startups. Have you imagined a better way to grow your business?  From the 23rd at 10 am to the 24th of August. At Kater Holzig Michaelkirchstrasse, 23.

Second apps. berlin.js. Be up-to-date about classic desktops browser apps, mobile apps and games written in JavaScript. You will be one of the first to know the second version of apps.berlin.js. Any proposal is welcome! From 7 pm at Co-up, Adalberstrasse, 7 – 8.

 Berlin Geekettes Cocktail meetup. Thursday will be the ‘Women in Tech’ day at Campus Party Europe, so it’s a perfect time for Berliner Geekettes to meet. You bring the chat, they bring the food and a cross section of women from the Berlin tech scene. From  11 am to 12 am at the Social Media Stage (Campus Party).

Friday 24 August

Silicon Allee Summer Party. Busy tech week, isn’t it? Maybe some music, drinks and food can help to relax and celebrate such a good summer in the technology startup field. Just come and double the fun from last year! From 7 pm at Prince Charles, Prinzenstrasse, 85F.
