Welcome to October! Berlin days are getting chilly, right? No worries, just stop by the Sillicon Allee breakfast and grab a cup of hot coffee while you warm up your brain for the European JavaScript Weekend, where hot issues like the latest Firefox OS phone and Internet Explorer 10 will be discussed. Monday 1 October

HTML5 BUG#1. Web audio and video tagging are gonna be the stars of this conference. Come and warm up for the big JavaScript event that will take place at the end of the week. From 7 pm at Co-Up, Adalbertstrasse, 7-8.

Data Days. Experts like Stephan Baumann, from the German Research Centre for AI, and Susanne Lang, journalist,  will talk about contemporary issues regarding data. From Monday at 9 am to Tuesday at 5.15 pm. At Nhow Berlin Hotel.

Tuesday 2 October

Silicon Allee Breakfast Meet Up. ‘Forget the Rain’ is the October theme of this monthly event, a good chance to overcome the upcoming chilly mornings and chat with old contacts and make new ones. You don’t need to RSVP, just show up and grab a cup of coffee while you meet the best of the Berlin startup scene. From 9 am at Sankt Oberholz.

Berlin Hack and Tell. Hey there, hackers! Show your new projects and compete for Hack of the Month Award. If you are intending to come as a spectator, registration is needed. From 6.30 pm at Rungestraße 20.

Thursday 4 October

The JavaScript Extravaganza. Another way to get ready for the European JavaScript Weekend with some extra information about scripts. Jed Schmidt, from Browserver,  will fill you in some tricks. From 9 am at Oderberger Strasse 57.

3rd Beginners Meetup. This edition is devoted to novices of code and development will focus this week on binary switches and it will host a ‘learn-tell’ session to share tips. From 7 pm at Co-Up.

Friday 5 October 

The EBSpreneurship Forum. Two day meeting, an essential platform for young entrepreneurs where you’ll find investment and good advice from experts like Alex Frankenberg of High-Tech Gründerfonds and Tobias Johann, founder of Rheingau Founders. From 3 pm to 7 pm on Friday and from 8 am to 9 pm on Saturday.

Saturday 6 October and Sunday 7 October

EU JavaScript Conference. Lovers of JavaScript, have been all week for this? It will be worth it ;) International speakers and the latest changes that Internet Explorer 10 will bring, tips to create shorter simple programs or the secrets of the Firefox OS phone, plus lots more! From Saturday to Sunday at Alte Münze Berlin, Molkenmarkt, 2.
